SUPPORT PATHWAYS
At Homeward Bound Veterans, we are committed to assisting homeless veterans for up to 1 Year as they rebuild and work towards long-term stability. As a national non-profit organization founded and run by veterans, we understand the unique challenges faced by those who have served. Our services are designed to provide IMMEDIATE support.

PERSONALIZED SUPPORT
One-on-One Assessments - Individual assessments are conducted through HBVets’ coordinated case‑management process. Veterans receive personalized guidance and are connected to external community resources based on identified needs and goals. This approach ensures each veteran receives personalized attention and consistent guidance while maintaining flexibility and access to a broad network of support.
VA Services Assistance - HBVets provides VA services assistance by helping veterans obtain essential documents—state ID, Social Security cards, cell phones—and secure required records such as medical files and DD‑214 forms through accredited external providers.
Live‑In Peer Support - HBVets’ housing model includes peer‑to‑peer support from experienced residents who help reinforce structure, accountability, and community expectations within the home.
HEALTH &
WELLNESS SUPPORT
Recognizing the importance of holistic healing, HBVets offers referrals to chaplains, spiritual counselors, and faith‑based organizations that provide spiritual support, mentorship, and guidance.
These services are optional and veteran‑directed, ensuring that each individual can access meaningful, culturally and personally aligned spiritual resources throughout their recovery and reintegration journey.
HOUSING &
RECOVERY COLLABORATION
HBVets provides structured transitional housing—not a sober living home or clinical treatment program. Our homes emphasize accountability, stability, and a substance‑free environment, including a no‑alcohol policy on all HBVets property.
Veterans who need recovery support are connected to community‑based services, peer programs, and treatment resources. When a higher level of care is required, HBVets facilitates timely referral to detox, residential treatment, or other clinically appropriate providers.
To promote safety and consistency within the home, on‑site house monitors provide daily structure, support safe medication practices, and help maintain a stable and accountable living environment. House monitors do not provide medical care; they ensure the home remains safe, orderly, and aligned with program expectations.
